About the Event

What was Herzl's Favorite Emoji?

What’s the connection between the Maccabees and the State of Israel? Where did their symbols come from? And how did the Bezalel Academy use archaeology to design Zionist-Jewish art and identity? This tour draws on the knowledge from the previoud three tours, specifically archaeology related to the First and Second temple periods, Jewish coins and more, and examines how they were used in modern Israel, shaping the Zionist ethos, children's books and songs, and inspired early Zionist artists.

Schedule is listed in Israeli Time.

This tour is part of an annual course of virtual tours for homeschool kids, on a wide range of topics.
