Homeschool - Purim Part 2: In the Days of Achashverosh (Hebrew)

Embark on an exciting journey to the ancient Persian Empire.

Let's begin this year's preparation for Purim. We will engage with the Persian Empire with three lessons, and in each we will uncover a different part of the story.

In this second class, we will meet Achashverosh and his opulent palaces in Susa and Persepolis. We will make the connections between the fascinating archaeology from museums around the world, and the story of Purim: Meet Mordechai and Esther in their hometown of Susa, and revisit the story of Purim with fresh new eyes.

This tour is part of an annual course of virtual tours for homeschool kids, on a wide range of topics.

This is a virtual tour delivered via Zoom.

To watch it you must have an active zoom account, and please make sure you know how to use Zoom's basic features: turn on/off camera and microphone, use the chat, and rename your account so it is not generic e.g. "iPhone5".   

This tour is approximately one hour long, in HEBREW with Q&A session in the end.  

After the tour, you will receive a follow-up email/WhatsApp with resources. You may also access the recording for a limited amount of time with a private link for you only.  You may register for the tour and ask for the recording only, and you may sign up for past virtual tours and watch them (for limited time).
